Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas!
It's day after christmas already!!! Boxing day! I have had a wonderful and great time hanging out with family members and friends, with tons and tons of food to go round for everyone. Now rolling on boxing day, no doubt it's going to be just as great or even better. I wish everyone out there, most especially the people who take out time to read, view or take away one or two things from my blog a very merry christmas and a beautiful and fulfilling new year in advance. Also in memory of those who we have lost or for some reason or the other weren't around to celebrate with us and won't be joining in the new year as well I say, take a moment or two to recognize and pray for them. Lots of love.... xxx

Designers with a breath of fresh air...

                                                     Eric Tibusch.
Eric Tibusch is a young French man who was born in 1972 in the city of Bonifacio in South Corsica. At the age of 3 he flew to French Polynesia and since that period he spent his childhood either in the Island of Beauty or in Tahiti. He left Polynesia when he was 12. As, he has always been fascinated by design and fashion, he was noticed by Jean Paul Gaultier in 1998 and immediately recruited and given the responsibility for the fashion shows of his famous “Maison de Haute Couture” abroad. As an expert on the programmes about fashion development, he had the ability to manage fur projects with other fashion designers. Aware of his capacity he decided to create his own “Maison de Couture” in July 2006, at the age of 34.

His lavish creations in sensational colours and extraordinary fabrics, are reminiscent of Egyptian princesses, Grecian goddesses and pure glorious splendour, complete with an edgy twist that modernizes is collections. I really do love his designs a little more than the rest  because of the exotic and rich/lush fabrics he uses.

Basic Instincts.

This year, there have been several trending designs and fabrics ranging from dresses to shoes, hair colours, accessories, mobile phones, jewelleries, make-up, patterns & prints especially the animal print style. These animal print designs, is one of the very many strong trends that lasted through to the end of the year and is also picking up in the 2011 for the spring/summer collection, ranging from swim wears to dresses and all other accessories. Designers & the high street retailers just can't seem to get enough of it. To think that it was at one time considered trashy to wear it, but the tiger stripes, leopard prints and reptile scales can be super stylish and chic if limited to one item of clothing per outfit.
